Food, glorious food!

In Penang that is. I'm sure many of you must have at one time or another heard people saying that Penang is a food paradise. I share the view. here i am in penang on a job that will take quite a while and enjoying the stay here even though missing my family back in k l every single day. just visited Babe in the City - KL's site and headed straight food hunting. settled for char kuey tiau at a corner coffee-shop (forgot the name) and it was good. thought of going to look for the padang brown popiah later. alredy tried the famous prawn mee opposite pdg brown and enjoyed it very much. for nasi kandar i would recommend merlin hotel coffee-shop stall for lunch and if you want it for dinner, go to shariff's nasi kandar istimewa in glugor. opposite the 7-11. be warned that you have to queue for some time, as it's very popular. opens 6pm onwards.
the cendol in penang road is also to my liking . a visit to the gurney drive foodstall area is a must for visitors to penang. just come to penang and go food hunting lah. enjoy!!!!
